Dai Greene
Dai is a professional track and field athlete who specialises in the 400m hurdles and has represented Wales and Great Britain at the highest level. His main achievements on track in the sport have been:
World Champion 2011 – 400h
Commonwealth Games Champion 2010 – 400h
European Champion 2010 – 400h
2x Olympic finalist 2012 – 400h and 4x400m
Silver World Champs 2009 – 4x400m
As well as these achievements on the track, Dai has been captain of the Great Britain athletics team on 3 occasions, most notably at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
In his youth, Dai played many different sports before settling for athletics. He was a keen footballer, playing for Swansea City FC academy until he was 17. It was during his university days that he fell in love with athletics.
