Deeping St James Primary School
Our collaboration with Deeping St James stands as a testament to the impact that can be achieved in education. Their main aim with this collaboration revolves around promoting physical health, optimising the PE Sports Premium, and enhancing the mental well-being of students while introducing a diverse array of initiatives within the school.
The hallmark of our collaboration with Deeping St James lies in the consistent communication and high standards of engagement. As an active member school, they enthusiastically participate in the various events organized by inspire+ throughout the year, with a particular enthusiasm for the “5 Ways to Wellbeing” initiative.
“The positive promotion of the conversation around mental health and normalising the vocabulary around the subject is why we believe this initiative is important for our schools and our pupils.” Inspire+ are proud to be able to have a positive impact on the children by normalising the vocabulary and the subject of mental health and wellbeing. Their regular reflection and focus on mental health during class and assemblies is a testament to the continued effect of our initiative. The students often talk about how the things have learnt have positively affected their mental wellbeing.
Furthermore, Deeping St James has successfully linked Physical Education with Mental Well-being, showcasing a commitment to professionalising the delivery of PE. As an active participant in inspire+’s events, the school’s involvement extends to our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Camps, highlighting a comprehensive approach to student well-being.
Overall, the collaboration between inspire+ and Deeping St James Primary School is a testament to the transformative potential of educational partnerships. Their proactive engagement, commitment to holistic development, and innovative approaches to initiatives have created a positive impact on students’ lives. As we continue to work hand-in-hand, inspire+ takes pride in the positive changes witnessed at Deeping St James, exemplifying a model of educational collaboration that prioritises the well-being of every student.
